A Different Translation Helped Her Understand God's Word Better.

On the 14th of June 2013, we had a visit from our ministry partner in Pretoria.

It is Mrs. Anna C. Kotze, married with Berry Kotze. When the ministry center in Pretoria had to close down early this year, they contacted us and told us that they would like to continue with the ministry. We took some of the ministry materials to their home, where they are working from . They are now a satellite office. They do the ministry on our behalf in Pretoria and are charging us nothing.

On Friday they came to fetch more ministry materials. Anna came with one of their ministry partners called Okkie. She told us how excited she is about the ministry material that we offer. As an Afrikaans woman working in an English community she found it difficult to understand the Bible in English. Then she read the New Living Translation Bible and now she understands the English Bible as she is telling us. Now she has more confidence in sharing God's word in English.

She said: "The Bible is alive to me now...I understand it. Thank you for this translation! The people are so hungry for God's Word that they asked us to please make sure we will receive Bibles by Sunday. We can not wait any longer for the Bibles, that is why we had to come today to get the material so that it can be ready for Sunday."

Please pray for this beautiful woman of God and her husband with their helpers. Anna is working especially with children and her husband with the youth and adults, though he is in a wheelchair. They are assisted by amazing loyal people.

Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Kotze for the work you are doing in Pretoria.

A New Recruit From Sara

Today I had the pleasure of meeting a man named Apostle Azariel R. Serongoane. A recruit from Aunty Sara.

Aunty Sara is the woman you met in our June 2013 newsletter. If you did not read it yet please go to www.bibleleague.co.za and download it. Now Sara had a vision of working with children...well she is doing it now and inspiring others to do likewise.

The Apostle was lead by God to go and minster in the area where she lives though he is from Johannesburg and she in in Britz, almost a 3 hour drive from Johannesburg. They met for the first time and shared their vision of reaching out to children and the youth of our country. She told him that he needs to come to the office of the Bible League of South Africa in Jeppestown. That is exactly what he did. Last week he came to our office and took a Children's booklet, "Friends Forever" and the youth booklet, "Gold Youth". He took it home to read it and see what it is all about.

Today he came to our office full of excitement. He came to get 30 booklets. This is what he said, "These books have taught me a lot. It is the foundation of our faith, and a good way to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior in our lives. As the senior Pastor of High Fire Ministry I would like to promote Bible League of South Africa in our country. We as a church have a call from God to preach to the poor, to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim freedom to the captives and release them from darkness...that is our vision we work for. Isaiah 61:1-2. The Bible League of South Africa helps us fulfill this vision with these materials and the word of God. I am very active working with the children and youth in my area as well as other areas like Britz.

My desire is to see that our young people come to know Jesus Christ and take responsibility for their future...and the future of their country. To stop drugs and crime. Our youth must be released from all these things that harm them. They need to live a great life, knowing God loves them."

This was a great encouragement for us. To know that God is working and bringing people to partner with us in this ministry so that His Kingdom is extended. Yes, multiplication is the name of the game...or rather the name of the work. One by one we can bring about the change around us both for time and eternity. Thank you Aunty Sara for your faithfulness.

Graduation of PowerHouse Ministries on Sunday the 9th of June 2013

Graduating from any program is an exhilarating, exciting,  and very proud moment.

This is what was experienced on Sunday when the students received their certificates. They completed both discipleship and leadership courses. There were about 15 young adults who received these rewards, one youth and one child. The youth completed the Youth Gold Booklet and the Child completed the Children's' booklet called, 'Friends Forever'. The Pastor of this Church and his wife, believes that all new members need to go through this course as it is the Foundation of Salvation as well as the Responsibility of Salvation.

Powerhouse Ministries have been in partnership with the Bible League for a number of years and their church is growing steadily. They are six years old as a ministry, but one would not say this, they have grown in so many ways. The students were encouraged to use the knowledge they have received to share the message of salvation to those the Lord directs them to. There are many people who will not be in the presence of their Pastor, but who are in their presence. Now they have both the authority and knowledge in sharing this great treasure that changes lives for time and eternity.

"God's Word is alive and working. It is sharper than the sharpest sword and cuts all the way into us. It cuts deep to the place where the soul and spirit are joined. God's Word cuts to the center of our joints and our bones. It judges the thoughts and feelings in our hearts." Hebrews 4:12 ERV. God's Word brings about the transformation each one of us needs. Read it, Memorize it, Meditate on it, Believe it and allow God to Change you.

Congratulations to all the students!!! May God use you mightily as you share His love and plan of salvation to others. Thank you for partnering with the Bible League of South Africa. It was a great honor and privilege to spend time with you in the presence of the Lord.

Continue to be exhilarated, excited and proud to be a Child of the Most High God!

Well Done!
